The Google Maps module is a feature that allows various "address enabled" modules to work together in order to present those addresses on a Google Map. Any user or account information that contains address information can be "Google Map" enabled:
- Business Directories
- User Accounts
The Google Maps module includes the ability to:
- Pin multiple locations on a Google Map
- Link to other content such as "Location Details"
- Provide turn-by-turn directions from a current "GPS" location or a specified address entered into a form
The Google Maps module is templated with functionality that is common with most businesses but like virtually all the modules in the Citadel CMS system, custom templates can be developed to to accommodate virtually any specific business requirement.
